What they were up against
Cloudport was onboarding Fortune 500 enterprise clients who demanded row-level security, GDPR compliance, audit logs, and <300ms P95 latency across all API endpoints. Their existing MVP couldn't meet any of these requirements. Without SOC 2 compliance, they were losing deals worth $2M+ each.
How we solved it
We designed a multi-tenant architecture with PostgreSQL Row Level Security, built a comprehensive audit log system, and refactored their API layer to Go for performance. We set up a Kubernetes cluster on AWS EKS with auto-scaling and built a real-time anomaly detection system for security monitoring. SOC 2 Type II compliance was achieved in 18 weeks.
