Forma Health needed a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform in 12 weeks to hit a state contract deadline. The platform needed video consultations, e-prescriptions, EHR integration, and the ability to handle 5,000 patients with end-to-end encryption — all from scratch.
How we solved it
We used Twilio Video for HIPAA-compliant video, integrated with FHIR-compliant EHR APIs, and built a secure prescription workflow with digital signatures. All PHI was encrypted at rest and in transit. We shipped a patient-facing React app, a clinician portal, and an admin dashboard — all deployed on AWS with automated HIPAA audit trails.
